Man’s arm impaled by branch in freak gardening accident

A Queensland man has been rushed to hospital after being impaled by a tree branch in a freak gardening accident.

Paramedics said the man was gardening at a home in Gavin Street, Bundaberg, when his arm was impaled by a branch.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 4.24pm.

The man is believed to be aged in his 30s.

He has since been transported stable to Bundaberg Hospital for treatment.
