Man’s body found inside esky dumped in bush

A MAN has been charged with murder after the body of a man was found jammed inside an esky dumped bushland in Queensland’s north. 

The grisly discovery was made in bushland at Edmonton, about 15 kilometres south of Cairns.

Last night, a 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with murder and interfering with a corpse.

Investigators continue to examine two crime scene’s, one where the body was found and another at a Lord Street house.

It’s believed the man whose identity if yet to be revealed was killed two weeks ago.

The accused will reappear in Cairns Magistrates Court on December 17.
