Man’s body found on Southern Highlands property

A MAN found dead on a property in the NSW Southern Highlands on Thursday night is believed to have died in a motorbike accident, police say.

Emergency services were called to the Canyonleigh Road property at Canyonleigh, near Sutton Forrest, at around 7pm.

When they arrived at the property about two kilometres west of the Hume Highway they found the man’s body.


In a statement released to media around 9.30pm, police said the man is believed to have died following a single motorbike accident.

The man’s age is not known.

Officers attached to The Hume Local Area Command attended the property and established a crime scene.

Investigations into the discovery are continuing.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
