A MAN has been airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital after losing several fingers in an accident in NSW.
It’s understood the man was trying to lift a motorbike onto a trailer at Tabulam, west of Casino, when the bike slipped and severed three of his fingers.
The man, who is believed to be aged in his early 30s, was initially treated by ambulance paramedics while they waited for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter to arrive at the scene.

Its crew took over treating the man before flying him to the Gold Coast hospital for treatment.
