A MOTORCYCLIST has lost one of his legs in a horror crash near Tathra, on the New South Wales South Coast.
Police said a Harley Davidson collided with a Subaru Impreza at Kalaru about 2pm on Saturday.
It happened at the intersection of Tathra Road and Sapphire Coast Drive.

The rider, a 60-year-old man, sustained horrific leg injuries and as a result, had his left leg amputated at the scene.
He was then airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition.
The 57-year-old woman driving the Subaru was taken to South East Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
She will also be subjected to mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
A crime scene was established and diversions remained in place for several hours while the scene was examined by specialist police.
Officers from South Coast Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
