Vision released of wanted off-road motorcyclist after horror hit and run in Logan

UPDATE @ 5.30PM | Police have released vision an off-road motorcycle, that’s believed to be involved in a horror hit and run in Loganlea yesterday.

It’s understood the victim, a 57-year-old man, was walking his dog in Evergreen Park around 5.30pm when the chaos unfolded.

According to police, an off-road motorcycle was allegedly driving dangerously throughout the park causing damage, with the 57-year-old man confronting the rider.

After a verbal altercation, police said the rider then “deliberately drove into the man”.

He suffered a broken leg, broken jaw and missing teeth, and was taken to Logan Hospital where he remains.

Logan police are now trying to identify the male rider, releasing the following footage.

The motorcycle is described as a white and black trailbike.

The rider was male, believed to be aged in his early 20s, Caucasian, with brown hair and wearing a white helmet and green poncho.

The motorcycle was last seen travelling on to Short Street and heading towards Allora Street.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police.

EARLIER @ 7.00AM | Investigators are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries in a horror hit and run in Loganlea yesterday.
