Man’s licence stripped for driving drunk with kids in car
FAMILY services have been contacted, after a man was allegedly busted drunk behind the wheel in the morning, with two young children in the car.
The 34-year-old was stopped on Eton Street in Sutherland, in Sydney’s south, around 9.30am on Saturday after his Mitsubishi Outlander was spotted driving erratically.
A roadside breath test was conducted, with the driver returning a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Sutherland Police Station for a breath analysis, which allegedly returned a reading of 0.211. He was charged with high range PCA and his licence was suspended.
Two girls in the car, aged 2 and 3, were left in the care of an adult female passenger.
Police notified Family and Community Services (FACS) of the incident.
