A man has had his car seized and copped a hefty fine after he was busted allegedly travelling at more than 190km/h near Goulburn this morning.
About 1.00am, Traffic and Highway Patrol officers spotted the man driving at high speed on the Hume Highway at Carrick, 10km north of Goulburn.
Officers stopped the vehicle and spoke to the 25-year-old driver before issuing him with a speed infringement notice for exceed speed by more than 45kmh which carries a $2350 and six demerit points.

The man’s 2013-model Lexus sedan was also confiscated for three months and his licence suspended for six months.
