Man’s skull fractured in savage assault outside Sydney pub

A MAN has suffered a fractured skill after having his head kicked in during a savage fight at Rockdale, in Sydney’s south.

It’s understood the 26-year-old victim became embroiled in a fight outside a bar on Bryant Street around 3:40am. It’s alleged the man was repeatedly punched and kicked in the head during the melee.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to St George Hospital where scans revealed he’d sustained a fractured skull.

Fortunately, police say the man’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.

As investigations into the assault continue, police have released a description of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged between 18 and 25 years, 170cm-175cm tall, with a short, stocky build.
