Maroons dealt huge blow with Harry Grant ruled out of Origin III
The Queensland Maroons will be without star hooker Harry Grant for State of Origin Game Three after he failed to overcome a hamstring injury.
The Maroons were sweating on the 23-year-old being good to go for next Sunday’s clash, but any hopes of that have now been officially quashed.
The Melbourne Storm took to social media this morning to confirm Grant would not be available for selection.
The club said the gun hooker, who started at dummy half in Game I, is still not 100 per cent.
“After medical examination on his hamstring this morning, we have informed the QRL that Harry Grant is unavailable for State of Origin selection for game three,” the club said.

Grant has played just seven games for the Storm this year due to injury.
