AN EXTENDED 22-man Queensland Origin squad has been named overnight, ahead of Game Two against New South Wales on Wednesday week.
Selectors had to look further afield as the Maroons deal with a growing list of injury concerns.
At this stage there are possible replacements for Billy Slater (shoulder), Greg Inglis (ankle) and Daly Cherry-Evans (knee).

Rookies Ben Hunt and Anthony Milford join experienced trio Jacob Lillyman, Will Chambers and Willie Tonga in the expanded squad which will head into camp at Sanctuary Cove this week.
The Brisbane Times reports, if Slater is out, the most likely scenario is that Darius Boyd would shift to fullback and Chambers to the wing.
Any absence of Cherry-Evans would see a straight swap with Hunt, while a doomsday scenario of Inglis, Slater and Cherry-Evans all missing out would bring Hunt and Milford firmly into play.
Sam Thaiday was the other returning face for Queensland. He will start in the second row, with either Matt Gillett or Chris McQueen dropping back to the bench.
