Maroons touch down in Sydney ahead of Origin opener
QUEENSLAND will ramp up their State of Origin preparations on Monday after touching down in Sydney overnight.
A recovering Greg Inglis was on board the flight, giving some hope to Maroons fans ahead of Wednesday’s clash.
Inglis is recovering from tonsillitis after three nights in a Gold Coast hospital but has been cleared to play.
Fellow star centre Justin Hodges has also been given the thumbs up after suffering a foot wound.
Inglis has just one training session left with Queensland before they launch their quest for redemption against title holders NSW at ANZ Stadium.
