Masseuse charged after allegedly raping 11yo boy during sports massage
An 11-year-old boy has allegedly been sexually assaulted by a masseuse during a sports massage appointment in Southern NSW at the weekend.
Police say that on Saturday 25 June, an 11-year-old boy attended an appointment for a sports massage with a therapist in Griffith.
During the appointment, the male massage therapist allegedly sexually assaulted the boy.
The boy reported the incident to his mother, who then contacted police.
Following investigations, a 30-year-old man was arrested and taken to Griffith Police Station where he was charged with two counts of have sexual intercourse with a child between 10 and 14 years, and aggravated indecent assault of a child under 16.
The man, a Taiwanese National, was refused bail to reappear at Griffith Local Court on Wednesday 29 June.
