Massive M1 delays, driver hospitalised after nasty car roll over

There are major delays on the M1 this morning, after a nasty crash through Burleigh Heads.

Emergency services were called to the Tsipura Drive and Tallebudgera Creek Road exit in the northbound lanes just before 7.00am.

It’s understood a car had rolled, causing a man to suffer a head injury.

He was assessed briefly at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Witnesses report that Tsipura Drive had to be closed while crews cleaned up the wreck.

Residual delays are causing a headache for motorists, with traffic still back past Palm Beach.

Everyone rushing to get into QLD the roads will be horrendous with morons who have no idea or care about other road users.
