The Gold Coast Suns’ future is looking pretty bright, with news that three key players can return from injury.
Midfield Matt Rowel is set to make his grand return this season, after taking three months off due to an MCL injury.
In the club’s Qscan Injury Update, the Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull says he’s on track to return to the field as soon as this weekend.

“Matt’s done really well with his rehab and has been training with the group for the last couple of weeks.
“He’ll train on Wednesday and be available for selection on the weekend which is really good news for Matt,” Bull said.
The Suns will head to Perth this weekend, to play Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Saturday.
Forward Sam Day is also set to return from his MCL injury this week, while defender Jack Bowes has also recovered a hamstring injury from Round 9.
“Sam’s going great as well. He’s been pretty similar to Matt all the way through and he’s been training with the group as well for the last couple of weeks.
“He’ll train on Wednesday as well and be available too.
“Jack was going really well, he probably would have been available last week when the bye was on so he’s been training with the group as well and he’ll train on Wednesday too,” Bull said.
