Pop singer Jessica Mauboy left Melbourne Cup organisers in a panic yesterday, after doing a mysterious runner just moments before she was due to sing the national anthem.
Mauboy was booked to sing Advance Australia Fair before the big race and was even introduced by the announcers at Flemington Race Course.
