Gold Coast-based Maven Dental Group has commenced a national rebrand of its dental businesses, starting with six local practices.
Maven operates 85 practices nationwide under different names so the rebranding exercise will give them a single shared identity.
This month, Totally Teeth practices in Southport, Mermaid Beach, Robina, Burleigh Heads, Tweed Heads and Tugun are the first practices to be rebranded.

Tugun practice lead clinician Dr Greg Duguid, a veteran practitioner with 20 years’ operating experience on the Gold Coast, said that while the rebrand will create a new identity, it will also enhance patient care and service.
“On a day-to-day basis Maven Dental Group will still embody the same business philosophy and experience,” said Dr Duguid, who also sits on Maven’s Clinical Advisory Committee and has been a part of the re-brand process from the beginning. “The rebrand of the Totally Teeth group here on the Coast is one of the first steps in knitting together the 85 disparately branded dental and specialist practices across the country; designed to bring everyone together ‘under the one roof’.”
Each rebranded practice will enjoy a new look and feel while retaining the same friendly practice support teams and clinicians, and continuing dedication to delivering the very best in clinical care.
Dr Duguid believes the benefits to patients stem from Maven’s philosophy of growing through sharing knowledge.
“The breadth of experts now within our Group, including our sister company Lumino The Dentists in New Zealand, means access to different specialists, dentists and hygienists, in both rural and metropolitan locations.”
“This, combined with our ongoing development of principles of best practice, both a mentorship and traineeship program in the pipeline and a regular annual conference, means our patients will be the beneficiaries of the best dentistry options, technology and patient care.”
Abano’s ownership of both Lumino and MDG is set to deliver significant returns as it looks to build its share of the estimated $11 billion trans-Tasman dental market.
Andy Tapper, Maven Dental Group’s CEO, said the two dental businesses operate under the guidance of a trans-Tasman leadership team, sharing resources, knowledge and collaborating on joint initiatives.
“Patients of MDG practices not only have access to our comprehensive range of general and specialist dental services, they are the beneficiaries of the combined knowledge and experience of over 300 clinicians,” said Mr Tapper.
“We invest heavily in the continual training of our clinical and support staff and the latest technologies to ensure that we are delivering the most advanced techniques and procedures to our patients.”
