THE Gold Coast’s Rapid Action Patrol squad has raided a number of homes across the city, seizing a cocktail of dangerous drugs.
Over the last three days, police have searched four addresses in Biggera Waters, Southport, Labrador and Mermaid Waters.
Officers seized a stash of cannabis, MDMA, cocaine, and steroids from a residence on Marine Parade in Southport.

A large amount of methylamphetamine, found in both tablet and solid form, was seized from properties in Mermaid Waters and Labrador.
While a small quantity of cannabis was seized from a unit on Marine Parade in Biggera Waters.
As a result of the raids, three people – two men and one woman – have been charged with multiple drug-related offences.
Officer in Charge of RAP, Senior Sergeant Mat Kelly said the raids were part of an ongoing drug operation.
“RAP is committed to disrupting drug related offences on the Gold Coast. We run these operations at various times through the year in an effort to combat the scourge of drugs in the community,” Snr. Sgt. Kelly said.
“We rely heavily on the assistance of the public and would encourage members of the community to continue to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if they have any information that may assist police.”
A 47-year-old Biggera Waters woman and a 36-year-old Labrador man have been issued with a notice to appear in relation to the charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug utensils.
A 25-year-old Southport man has been charged with eight drug related charges including possession of dangerous drugs, possession of restricted drug and possession of anything used in the commission of a crime.
Investigations are continuing.
