QUEENSLAND’s health department has issued a measles alert after two people visited doctors with probable cases.
The pair attended a Cairns school late last week and also went to a local general practice on Wednesday before having pathology tests.
The patients also visited the Mt Sheridan Shopping Centre on Monday.

People who have had close contact are being notified and more information will be made available tomorrow morning if the cases are confirmed.
