Gold Coast locals and businesses can set up a meeting with a Queensland Government minister when the State Government governs from the city later this month.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said Parliament will be sitting on the Gold Coast from Monday 31 July to Friday 4 August as a way to “address local issues and seize upon local opportunities”, and so that the Premier and Ministers can meet local stakeholders.
The Premier had planned to Govern from the Gold Coast earlier this year, but it was postponed due to other commitments when cities across the state were impacted by Tropical Cyclone Debbie.
