Ashlea, 30, Property Consultant

Career-driven Ashlea has had her fair share of heart break but that has by no means dampened her spirit. The unshakeable optimist is on the lookout for her prince charming, someone that will love and accept both her and her son. Her ideal partner will be spontaneous and trustworthy with a big heart.

Why did you apply for the show?

I wanted the opportunity to meet someone out of my comfort zone. A guy who didn’t approach me at a bar or through a form of social media.

How would you describe your perfect partner?

Great personality and sense of humour, family orientated, genuine and trust worthy. Someone who is not afraid of communication and takes pride in their life and health.

Rhiannon, 28, Sales Representative

Fun, playful and energetic, Rhiannon has a dry sense of humour and loves to be sarcastic. The Queenslander is finally ready to be with someone she can love and adore, and is looking for a manly man who makes her feel giddy. She really appreciates thoughtfulness, so a perfect date could be something casual as long as they had her in mind when they planned it.

Why do you think you’re still single?

I am still single because it’s taken me a long time to feel ready to open up again. Now I know what qualities and attributes I am looking for in a partner. I’ve been extremely picky and don’t want to waste anyone’s time or my own unless I am sure they are a good fit for me.

Describe your dream date

Anything by the water on sunset, a few drinks and some food would honestly be perfect.

Blair, 27, PE teacher

Sassy and quick-witted Primary School Teacher Blair loves to laugh, even if it is at her own expense. Blair is highly competitive, constantly running at 100 miles-an-hour and enjoys an active lifestyle to use all that energy. The 27-year-old has never been in love but is looking for a tall, tanned man with muscles to share her love of the beach and outdoors.

What is one trait that might make The Bachelor run the other way?

I have a really high belly button. It is a bit creepy.

If you could pick someone to play you in a movie about your life, who would it be and why?

Cameron Diaz–because she is tall, tanned and always seems to be having a lot of fun.

Cat, 24, Fashion Designer

Wild, crazy and creative, Cat is a full of energy go-getter. She not only has her own fashion label but also enjoys styling woman to feel both powerful and sexy. The often unapologetically brazen 24-year-old is looking for a funny guy who is down to earth, but more importantly her best friend.

Describe your dream date?

Doing a fun activity together and ending it with a romantic picnic/dinner with some red wine.

Describe yourself in five words:

Vivacious, witty, caring, quirky and adventurous.

The Bachelor Australia premieres Wednesday, 15 August at 7.30pm.
