Men charged over horrific gang rape of drunk mate on Australia Day

FOUR young men have been arrested and charged, accused of gang raping their mate with a beer bottle as he lay passed out drunk at a private party in Brisbane on Australia Day this year.

It’s alleged the 19-year-old victim was unaware he had been assaulted on January 26, 2015 until a video of the alleged rape was uploaded to Facebook two days later.

The victim made a formal complaint to police last month, and the four men accused of orchestrating the sickening attack were last night arrested and charged.
