Metallica has announced an Australian tour

Hope you’re sitting down – because this announcement will be your ‘Hero of the Day‘!

‘Nothing Else Matters’ anymore, because Metallica has announced their ‘WorldWired Tour’ is coming to Australia this year!

The long-awaited return to the region is coming in October, the band’s first dates in Australia since 2013, and the first show in New Zealand since 2010.

It’s ‘Sad But True’ that we’ve simply waited too long for this return, so safe to say we’re basically passing out over the news.

Their ‘WorldWired Tour’ has played over 130 shows across the world since it’s kick off in 2016.

Slipknot is expected to be a special guest of the tour on all dates, so yeah, it’s going to go off.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday March 18 from 2pm Gold Coast time.

Amex holders and Fan Club members will have presale advantages.

Like it could get any better… all tickets will include a free MP3 download of the show, and a choice of standard physical or standard digital copy of the band’s 10th and current album: ‘Hardwired… To Self Destruct’.
