Meth, xanax found in stolen car at Labrador

A MAN and a woman have been arrested and charged after police allegedly found a stash of dangerous drugs, including crystal meth and Xanax, in a stolen car at Labrador.

Officers were patrolling Muir Street last night when they spotted a suspected stolen blue Rav 4 with stolen number plates entering an undercover carpark about 7.45pm.

Police followed the vehicle into the carpark and blocked its exit before detaining its three occupants.

During a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly found a significant amount of methampetamine, as well as cannabis, alprazolam (Xanax), a meth pipe, scales and a stash of stolen cosmetics.
