Metricon Stadium has also been announced as a special live site for next week’s Grand Final, with the game to be shown on the big screen from 5.30pm.
The afternoon will also feature an Auskick clinic, music and food stalls with free tickets available through Ticketek.
Gold Coast Suns CEO Mark Evans says it will be great opportunity for families to come out and watch the decider.
“For the first time, the AFL Grand Final will be played at night, which creates a great opportunity to grab a picnic blanket and watch the game on TV while sitting on the oval at Metricon Stadium,” Evans said.
“It will be an enjoyable and unique experience, regardless of whether your team is playing and I encourage everyone to come along and enjoy this special event.”
