MICHAEL Clarke has reportedly withdrawn from his contract with his Big Bash League team the Melbourne Stars.
The Age reports that the former Australian cricket captain had signed a two-year contract with the team in April and was set to lead them.
Clarke is currently holidaying in Europe with his pregnant wife Kyly following his retirement from international cricket after the Ashes.

He has previously indicated that he hoped to join Australian broadcaster Channel Nine’s commentary team.
Clarke also set up a company Michael J Clarke Investments Pt Ltd in May.
