Whale watchers are in for a treat with Migaloo, the famous white whale, set to cruise past the Gold Coast any day now.
Migaloo has reportedly been spotted off the New South Wales South Coast as he makes his way north as part of the annual migration.
Experts expect Migaloo to pass Sydney soon and will likely pass Cape Byron sometime from Wednesday.

That means he should head past the Gold Coast not long after that.
He appears to be making an early trip up the coast this year, with Migaloo usually spotted around July or August in previous years.
This years whale migration is expected to be a bumper season, with up to 30,000 humpbacks making the 10,000km trek north from the Antarctic.
The whale watching season is expected to run until November.
