A man has been charged after he allegedly broke into a factory and stole more than $13,500 worth of protein milk powder.
Police said the man entered a factory site at Smithtown around 2.30am on Sunday 9 October and allegedly got away with four bags of the powder.
The owners of the business contacted police the following day after noticing the bags of protein missing.

Following investigations, officers yesterday arrested a 35-year-old man at a home at Kempsey.
He was charged with break, enter and steal, and enter prescribed premises of any person without lawful excuse.
