The 2015 Miss Gold Coast Showgirl and Showteen finals will take place this Saturday, August 1, at Cavil Mall Surfers Paradise from 11am, with crowning at 11:45am.

The girls taking out the Miss Showgirl and Showteen crowns won’t be the only ones walking away with a title; the Marj Belsham Award will also be presented to the entrant embodying outstanding community spirit.
Gold Coast Show Manager Lavinia Rampion says the Marj Belsham Award is a significant award for the Gold Coast Show Society, with Marj being the Show Society’s longest-serving life member.
“Beginning her association with the Gold Coast Show Society in 1968, Marj committed herself to the show with a great deal of enthusiasm and energy,” Ms Rampino says.
“Her dedication and passion for the Show Society and the Agricultural Show movement was extensive, contributing to the shows growth.
“Marj was the Chief Steward for the equestrian and Showgirl Event Coordinator – her legacy lives on through the Marj Belsham Award, in honour of her fantastic contribution to the Show.
