Police appeal to find missing 13yo who may be on the Gold Coast

Police are appealing for help to find a missing 13-year-old girl who could be on the Gold Coast.

The girl was last seen by family in the Ipswich suburb of South Ripley around 5pm on Tuesday.

Police say she has since been in contact via social media, but concerns are being held for her welfare due to her age.

The teen is described as Caucasian, approximately 157cms tall with a fair complexion, thin build, brown hair and blue eyes.

She is believed to be in the company of other teenagers and may have travelled to the Gold Coast area.

Officers are appealing for the girl, or anyone who has information regarding her whereabouts, to come forward.
