Missing boy may be headed for Gold Coast

A BOY reported missing from Brisbane may have jumped on a train to the Gold Coast, police say.

The 16-year-old was last seen at an address on Elliott Road in the suburb of Banyo in the city’s north on Sunday morning.

Police say they hold concerns for the teen’s welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.

The boy (pictured below) is described as being Caucasian in appearance with a solid to heavy build, around 185cm tall with short, blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue zip-up jacket, blue pyjama pants, and ugg boots.

Police say the 16-year-old could be using the rail network to travel to the Gold Coast.

Anyone who may have seen the teen or knows where he is should call police immediately.
