Missing girl ‘found safe and well’

UPDATE 9:30 PM | A TEENAGE girl reported missing from Southport on Sunday has been found.

Police issued a statement just before 9pm, confirming the 16-year-old had been located “safe and well”.

A missing persons alert was issued for the teen earlier on Sunday evening after she disappeared about midday.


FIRST 7:15 PM | POLICE are seeking urgent help to find a 16-year-old girl who has gone missing and may be unable to find her way home on the Gold Coast.

The teen was last seen at around midday on Sunday, walking along Kosciusko Crescent in Southport.

Police issued a missing persons alert for the girl just after 7pm, citing concerns for her safety and well-being.

The 16-year-old has a medical condition and may not be able to find her way home.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
