Missing Malaysian students found safe and well

UPDATE @ 11 March: TWO Malaysian students who were missing from Brisbane have been found.

Police said the 21-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were located safe and well on Thursday.

EARLIER @ 10 March: TWO Malaysian students missing from Brisbane may be on the Gold Coast, police say.

The 21-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were last seen around 2.00pm on Wednesday in the Gardens Point area.

The pair have been reported missing to police by their families, with concerns held for their safety and well-being.

Overnight, police received information that the duo may be in the Southport area of the Gold Coast.

Anyone who sees them or has any information in relation to their current whereabouts is urged to immediately contact police.
