Missing man Barir Hussein may be on the Gold Coast

POLICE believe a young man reported missing from Logan three weeks ago may be on the Gold Coast.

Barir Hussein, 21, was last seen at a caravan park on Riverhills Road at Eagleby around 5.45pm on February 8 and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and family hold concerns for Mr Hussein’s welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.

The Queensland Police Service renewed their appeal to find Mr Hussein on Thursday.

Investigators believe the 21-year-old may have travelled to the Gold Coast.

He is described as having a tanned complexion and being around 167cm tall with brown eyes, dark hair in a crew cut and earrings in each ear.

Mr Hussein was last seen wearing a singlet with black shorts and sneakers.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to come forward and call Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
