Mitsubishi recalls half a million vehicles

Mitsubishi Australia is recalling almost half a million vehicles over safety fears.

The massive recall, one of the biggest in Australian history, affects nearly every Mitsubishi model dating back to nearly ten years ago.

In nine separate recall notices, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said that the Mitsubishi Challengeri-MiEVLancer Sedan & SportbackOutlanderPajeroTritonLancer Evolution + Ralliart and Colt were all among the vehicles affected.


Faults in the vehicles relate to a variety of electrical faults including dodgy connection cables to manufacturing issues.

Mitsubishi Motors Australia says that they will be contacting all known owners by mail as soon as possible.
