IF you’re planning to head to the Gold Coast Show on Friday you may want to pack an umbrella just in case.
The Bureau of Meteorology predicts the Gold Coast is in for a partly cloudy day with a medium (60%) chance of showers, most likely in the late morning and afternoon. However, they won’t be heavy falls with only up to 2mm likely.
There is also the chance of a thunderstorm while temperatures are expected to reach 22 degrees.

The rain won’t be hanging around for long though, with Saturday looking partly cloudy with only a very slight chance of a shower. Top temperatures are expected to reach 23 degrees.
For the start of spring on Sunday, we can expect to see mostly sunny conditions with warmer tops of 25 degrees.
Looks like the sunny spring weather will be hanging around right through next week as well with tops even tipped to get up to around 28 degrees later in the week.
