A man remains in a critical condition in Gold Coast University Hospital after what appears to be a dangerous bid to make weight for a professional fight.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman has confirmed, the 26-year-old was found unconscious at a Labrador resort on Friday.
They were called to the Marine Parade hotel at 11.50am before rushing the man to hospital.

He has been named as Craig Booth, a Toowoomba plumber who was reportedly set to take part in the Eternal MMA match at the Southport Sharks AFL Club today.
It’s claimed he was laying in a hot bath and covered in towels in a bid to sweat it out for the middleweight division bout.
