GC model busted drug-driving on tram tracks escapes conviction

A Gold Coast model who was busted drug-driving after her car became wedged on the tram tracks in Surfers Paradise has escaped conviction.

Karlee Ironside, 24, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and numerous other charges in Southport Magistrates court yesterday.

Ironside pleaded with the judge to not record a conviction, stating that she had high hopes of moving overseas to work as a bunny at Heff’s Playboy mansion.

The model was busted when she tried to flee the scene in Surfers Paradise on October 19.

A drug test revealed she was high on ICE and Xanax at the time.

Ironside was ordered to pay $1624 for damage to the tram tracks, fined $2150 and suspended from driving for 13 months.

All because she pleaded that she wanted to work at the playboy mansion. She is no where near the standard of girls in that house …… #justicesystemisajoke
