Scoop, beep and sweep your way across the Broadwater Parklands this Sunday at the 16th annual Monster Machinery Day.
The family-friendly event is a chance for locals to check out more than 50 City vehicles for free, including excavators, graders, loaders, tip trucks, road sweepers, beach tractors, quad bikes, emergency vehicles and more.

“Monster Machinery Day has evolved from a small community event into one of the City’s biggest events for young families, bringing more than 12000 attendees from the Gold Coast and beyond.
“The day brings out the inner kid in all of us,” said Cr Crichlow.
This year’s highlights include three stunt motorcyclists riding the Globe of Death and two decommissioned army tanks. There will also be free rides, live machinery demonstrations, an assortment of food trucks and more.
Due to popular demand, this year’s event will offer extended hours (9am – 3pm), and as always is free to attend. To find out more, visit: mygc.com.au/gold-coast-events/monster-machinery-day/
