Police in Sydney have fined another nine people over COVID breaches at a wedding on the weekend.
Crimestoppers received a tip-off that a number of guests at the Pyrmont reception on Sunday were from Sydney’s northern beaches and were supposed to be in lockdown.
Police took down the contact details of numerous guests before fining 12 people $1000, including the bride.

Officers have since identified another nine guests as being northern beaches residents.
The five men and four women have now also been issued with $1000 fines.
Police say inquiries are continuing and more fines are possible.
New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian slammed those who blatantly breached rules to attend the wedding.
“That is the type of behaviour that risks it for everybody,” Ms Berejiklian said.
“But I think all of us were shaking our heads, absolutely aghast that that occurred.”
