More rain on the way for the Gold Coast today

Plenty of rain has fallen in parts of the Gold Coast over the last day, as the east coast of Australia continues to cop a drenching.

Flood warnings remain in place for much of the southern and western parts of the state, but not for the Gold Coast just yet.

Most of the heavy rain systems now look to have moved off the coast, but we can still expect passing showers today.
