A MAN and a woman have been charged, following raids across Sydney netted more than $3 million worth of cannabis and more than $70,000 in cash.
Investigators from Strike Force Grassy executed 12 search warrants at homes in Hurstville, Kingsgrove, Kogarah, Campsie, Penshurst, Wentworthville, Homebush, Chester Hill, Canley Vale, and Old Guildford on Thursday.
During the raids, Police say they located and seized $72,000 in cash, 1109 cannabis plants, and 10kg of cannabis leaves from the properties.

“The seized prohibited drugs have an estimated potential street value of nearly $3,378,000,” Police confirmed in a statement.
Officers arrested a 43-year-old Chester Hill man and charged him with five counts of cultivate prohibited plant, supply prohibited drug, deal with proceeds of crime, and participate in a criminal group.
While a 33-year-old Canley Vale woman was charged with three counts of cultivate prohibited plant, deal with proceeds of crime, and participate in a criminal group.
They were both refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today.
