A woman has been charged after NSW police made the shock discovery of more than $50,000 worth of ‘ice’ in a woman’s handbag.
Officers came across the massive drug haul after becoming suspicious of a woman driving a hire car in Warilla last Friday night.
“Police followed the car as it turned into Shellharbour Road and spoke with the driver, a 41-year-old woman,” NSW police said.

A search of her handbag allegedly revealed methylamphetamine concealed within the lining.
It’s understood the drugs have an estimated potential street value of a whopping $58,000.
The woman was arrested and has since been charged with supply prohibited drug.
She’s due to appear in Wollongong Local Court today.
