Morrison and Albanese to battle it out in first leaders debate

Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese will go head-to-head tonight in the first leaders debate of the Federal election.

The Prime Minister and Labor leader will be taking questions from an audience of 100 undecided voters.

The battle will unfold in Brisbane at 7pm.

It’s understood Mr Morrison will focus on the coalition’s economic and security credentials, while Mr Albanese will be looking to convince Australians he’s ready to lead.

The Prime Minister took part in three debates during the 2019 campaign, however, tonight’s face-off will be the Opposition leader’s first.

Those wishing to watch the debate can do so, with the debate to be televised on Sky News Australia.
