New South Wales is in the grip of a fresh spate of horrific domestic violence incidents, with three deaths in the past week.
Two women were killed, allegedly at the hands of their former partners, while an elderly man was bludgeoned to death in his own home, allegedly by his son.

In the latest terrifying incident, Police charged a 49-year-old man with holding a woman and her children against their will for two days at a home in Cabramatta.
The 30-year-old woman suffered facial injuries after the man allegedly hit her and also cut her hair.
She managed to escape on Saturday with her two children, aged three and 11 months, and alerted police.
The man was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today.
