A Queensland woman has blown almost 5 x over the legal alcohol limit while on her way to pick up her children from day care.
Police said that around 3.00pm yesterday, the woman was pulled over during a random breath testing operation on Steley Street at Howard.
The woman told officers that she was on her way to pick up her small children from a day care centre.

After taking a breath test, the 40-year-old returned a breath alcohol concentration of 0.246 percent, which is almost 5x the legal limit.
She was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and is scheduled to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on December 13.
