Mother traumatised after carjacker steals vehicle with 3yo girl inside

A woman and her children have been left traumatised after a horror carjacking in Laidley, in the Lockyer Valley, on Wednesday night.

The mother was sitting in her car at a supermarket with her two young daughters, aged 10 and 3, around 7.00pm last night when a man approached their vehicle.

The man has then opened the driver’s side door, pushing the woman’s face into the steering wheel before pulling her out of the car by her hair.

The 41-year-old mother managed to get her 10-year-old daughter out before the man drove off, with the three-year-old girl still trapped in her car seat.

The man eventually stopped the car nearby and left the little girl on the side of the road unharmed.

He’s then got back into the car and crashed it into a fence in William Street, before driving off.

Police are still on the hunt for the man and the stolen vehicle, which is a 2013 black Ford Falcon sedan with Queensland registration 341 TVX.
