Motorbike rider fighting for life after Gold Coast crash

A man is fighting for life in hospital after he was hit by a car while riding a motorbike last night.

The two vehicles are understood to have collided along Tugun Currumbin Road around 11.30 pm.

Paramedics, including the High Acuity Response Unit and critical care, were called to the scene where they briefly assessed the man.

He’d suffered significant head and leg injuries and had to be taken to hospital for further treatment.

He’s understood to be in a critical condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Forensic police are now investigating.
