Motorbike stolen during Mount Tamborine home invasion

A COUPLE have been threatened with a machete and had a motorcycle stolen from their Tamborine Mountain home on Tuesday evening.

Two men entered the Beacon Road home around 5.10pm demanding the man and woman hand over cash.

The couple at the time refused their demands before the thieves stole a blue 2014 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle (pictured) with Queensland registration 863LW and fled the scene.


No one was physically injured during the incident.

The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his early 20s, about 180cm tall with a thin build.

The second man is described as being Asian in appearance, about 176cm tall with a skinny build and brown eyes.
