Motorcyclist dies in GC hospital after horror collision with 4WD

A man has died in hospital following a horror crash between a motorbike and car in the NSW Northern Rivers region last week.

Police said that on Friday 7 October, emergency services were called to Kyogle Road, at Uki about 14km east of Murwillumbah, following reports a motorcycle and Mitsubishi Triton 4WD had collided.

The rider of the motorbike, a 43-year-old man, was treated at the scene by Paramedics, before being air lifted to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.

Tragically, he died in Gold Coast University hospital yesterday.

The driver and two passengers in the 4WD suffered minor injuries in the crash.
